B.A. in Rural Studies is designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge about rural life, development policies, and sustainable growth. The curriculum includes subjects like rural sociology, agricultural economics, rural development programs, cooperative management, and environmental sustainability. Practical fieldwork and community-based projects provide hands-on experience in understanding and solving rural challenges.
Students who have completed 10+2 from a recognized board are eligible for this course. An interest in community service, rural development, and social work, along with good analytical and communication skills, is beneficial.
